Mission & Outreach Ministries

Johanna Morris Women's Missionary Society (JMWMS)

The Johanna Morris Women's Missionary Society is at the forefront of mission and outreach at Turner Memorial.  JMWMS focuses on ministry and service to persons in the local church and community through education, advocacy, mentoring, health & wellness, and outreach.  The ministry is open to both women and men (associate members); the Young Women's Initiative (YWI) within the ministry targets women aged 18 to 40.  JMWMS further expands its mission and outreach at all levels of the Connectional Women's Missionary Society - area, conference, episcopal, and connectional.

JMWMS is also the parent ministry for the Young People's and Children's Division (YPD), which offers educational, leadership, and service opportunities for youths aged 2 to 26.
